So, I’ve got my apron and my heels and I’m ready to start blogging! Like so many of you out there, I’m a young, 20-something, working girl dreaming of becoming the next Giada, but let’s face it, a business degree isn’t going to get me there – nor will it pay the bills. Instead, I’ve decided to take up cooking as a sort of hobby with the hopes of becoming really, really good. I’d like to think I’m well on my way to becoming gourmet-ish. Most days of the week, even when I have to work late and squeeze in a run (lots to juggle!), I like to try out new recipies – some work, some don’t – but like some many things in life, it takes practice. Hopefully with this blog I’ll be able to pass on some great recipies ideas, tips, and even kitchen gadget reviews – all aimed at helping us “become gourmet” even if we are wearing heels in the kitchen.
